Simple Banana Bread Recipe

Fruit Cake

1

Ingredients

3 ripe bananas (mashed) 1/3 cup melted butter 3/4 cup sugar 1 egg (beaten) 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda Pinch of salt (Optional) 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or chocolate chips

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper to ensure easy removal of the baked bread.

In a large bowl, mash 3 ripe bananas with a fork until smooth. They should be very ripe, with brown spots for the best natural sweetness.

Add 1/3 cup melted butter, 3/4 cup sugar, 1 beaten egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract to the mashed bananas. Stir until fully combined.

Gently mix in 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Stir just until no dry flour remains—do not overmix.

Pour the batter into your prepared loaf pan. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let the banana bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing and serving. Enjoy fresh or toasted!
