– 1 lb ground beef – 1 packet taco seasoning – 1/4 cup water – 4 large flour tortillas – 1 cup cooked rice – 1 cup black beans (drained) – 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese – 1/2 cup salsa – Sour cream (optional) – Guacamole (optional) – Hot sauce (optional)
In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 lb of ground beef until browned. Break it apart with a spoon and cook evenly for about 7–8 minutes.
Stir in taco seasoning, 1/4 cup water, and simmer for 3–4 minutes until well combined and slightly thickened for rich flavor in every bite.
Warm large flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 20 seconds. This makes them soft and pliable for easy wrapping and no tearing.
Spoon beef into the center of the tortilla, then add rice, beans, cheese, salsa, and your choice of toppings. Be careful not to overfill.
Fold in the sides, roll tightly from the bottom, and serve warm. Enjoy your homemade beef burrito with sour cream, guacamole, or hot sauce.
