Cucumber Sandwich Recipe

Fruit Cake

1

Ingredients

1 large English cucumber 8 slices white sandwich bread 4 oz cream cheese 1 tbsp mayonnaise 1 tsp fresh dill Salt and pepper

Instructions:

Peel the cucumber and slice it thinly. Lay slices on paper towels, sprinkle with salt, and let them sit for 15 minutes to draw out excess moisture.

In a bowl, blend cream cheese, mayonnaise, chopped dill, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and evenly combined for a flavorful spread.

Trim crusts from the white bread slices for a classic look. Optionally, lightly toast the bread for a sturdier sandwich base.

Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on each bread slice. Layer the cucumber slices evenly over half of them.

Top the cucumber-covered slices with the remaining bread. Press gently and slice each sandwich into halves or quarters, as preferred.

Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap and chill until serving. These sandwiches are best enjoyed cold and fresh.
