Bread Canapes Recipe

Ingredients

– 6 slices of bread – 1/2 cup boiled mashed potatoes – 1/4 cup chopped onions – 1/4 cup chopped capsicum – 1/4 cup grated cheese – 1/2 tsp black pepper – Salt to taste – 2 tbsp mayonnaise – 1 tbsp butter – Coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Cut bread slices into small rounds using a cutter and lightly toast them on a pan with butter until crisp and golden on both sides.

In a bowl, mix mashed potatoes, onions, capsicum, salt, pepper, and mayonnaise until you get a creamy and flavorful topping mix.

Spread the mixture evenly over each toasted bread round and sprinkle grated cheese generously on the top of each canape.

Place the canapes in an oven or air fryer for 3–5 minutes to melt the cheese and slightly brown the top for a delicious texture.

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney as a tasty party snack or tea-time treat.
