Air Fryer French Fries

Fruit Cake

1

Ingredients

– 2 large russet potatoes – 1–2 tbsp olive oil – 1/2 tsp sea salt – Optional: garlic powder, paprika, or dried herbs for extra flavor

Instructions:

Peel (optional) and cut potatoes into thin, even strips. Thinner fries cook faster and crisp better in the air fryer.

Soak cut fries in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and dry thoroughly with paper towels for crisp results.

Toss fries in olive oil and season with salt and any additional spices. Mix well to ensure even coating on every piece.

Preheat your air fryer to 380°F. A hot basket helps create that golden, crispy texture from the first minute of cooking.

Spread fries in a single layer. Cook at 380°F for 15–20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even browning.

Fries should be crisp and golden. Add 2–3 more minutes for extra crunch if needed. Avoid overcrowding to maintain crisp texture.

Serve with ketchup, garlic aioli, ranch, or spicy mayo. Customize with cheese, herbs, or truffle oil for gourmet-style fries.
