Easy to Make Philly Cheesesteak Recipe

Fruit Cake

1

Ingredients

– 1 lb ribeye or sirloin steak, thinly sliced – 1 green bell pepper – 1 small onion – 4 hoagie rolls – 4–6 slices provolone cheese Additional Ingredients – 1 tbsp olive oil – Salt and pepper to taste – Optional: mushrooms, banana peppers, mayo, or Cheez Whiz for a twist

Instructions:

Freeze steak for 30 minutes to firm it up, then slice very thin against the grain for tender, quick-cooking meat.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium. Cook sliced onions and bell peppers until soft and caramelized, about 7–8 minutes.

Add steak to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through, about 3–5 minutes.

Lower heat, layer provolone over the meat and veggies. Cover briefly until cheese melts into the mixture.

Lightly toast hoagie rolls. Spoon the steak and cheese mixture into each roll. Serve immediately for best taste and texture.

Pair with fries, chips, or a pickle spear. Great for lunch, dinner, or game day. Serve hot and melty for the ultimate sandwich experience.
