Ingredients

Meat Sauce – 1 lb ground beef – 1/2 lb Italian sausage – 1 small onion, diced – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes – 2 tbsp tomato paste, basil, oregano, salt Cheese Mixture – 15 oz ricotta cheese – 1 egg – 1/2 cup grated Parmesan – 1 tbsp chopped parsley – Salt and pepper to taste Other Ingredients – 9 lasagna noodles (cooked or oven-ready) – 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese – Olive oil, for sautéing – Optional: red pepper flakes for spice

Instructions:

Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil. Add beef and sausage, cook until browned. Stir in tomatoes, paste, and seasonings. Simmer 20–30 mins.

In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper. Mix well until creamy and fully blended.

In a 9x13" dish: 1. Spread meat sauce 2. Add noodles 3. Spoon ricotta 4. Sprinkle mozzarella Repeat layers and finish with cheese.

Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 20 minutes until golden and bubbly. Let rest 10–15 minutes.

Serve with garlic bread, Caesar salad, and a sprinkle of fresh basil or Parmesan for a complete, satisfying Italian-style meal.
