Delicious Apple Bread Pudding

Ingredients

– 4 cups cubed day-old bread – 2 apples, peeled and diced – 2 tbsp butter – 1/4 cup brown sugar – 1 tsp ground cinnamon – 3 large eggs – 2 cups whole milk – 1/2 cup granulated sugar – 1 tsp vanilla extract – Pinch of salt – Optional: caramel sauce or whipped cream

Instructions:

Sauté apples in butter with sugar and cinnamon until soft. This brings out their natural sweetness and adds flavor depth to the pudding.

In a large bowl, whisk eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. This custard will soak into the bread and bind everything together.

Layer cubed bread and cooked apples in a greased dish. Pour the custard evenly over the top, pressing gently to soak all the bread.

Bake uncovered at 350°F for 45–50 minutes or until the top is golden and the custard is set. Let cool slightly before serving warm.

Serve with caramel sauce, whipped cream, or vanilla ice cream. This cozy dessert is ideal for holidays or a sweet treat anytime!
