Easy Tostada Recipe

Ingredients

– 6 corn tortillas – 1 can refried beans – 1/2 lb ground beef or shredded chicken – 1 packet taco seasoning – 1 cup shredded lettuce – 1/2 cup diced tomatoes – 1 cup shredded cheese – Salsa, sour cream, guacamole (optional) – Oil for baking or frying

Instructions:

Bake or fry corn tortillas until golden and crispy. For baking, brush lightly with oil and bake at 400°F for 5–7 minutes per side.

Brown ground beef or shredded chicken with taco seasoning. Cook until well done and flavorful—this will be the main savory layer.

Spread warm refried beans on each tostada shell. The beans act as a delicious base and help the other toppings stay in place.

Top with cooked meat, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and salsa. Add sour cream or guacamole for a creamy, cool finish.

Serve tostadas fresh and crisp to maintain their crunch. Offer lime wedges and extra toppings on the side for a customizable experience.
