Homemade Belgian Waffle Recipe

Ingredients

– 2 cups all-purpose flour – 2 tbsp sugar – 1 tbsp baking powder – ½ tsp salt – 2 large eggs – 1¾ cups milk – ½ cup melted butter – 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined and no lumps remain in the dry mixture.

In another bowl, beat the eggs, then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until all the wet ingredients are fully blended and smooth.

Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix; the batter should still be slightly lumpy.

Preheat your Belgian waffle iron and lightly grease it. Pour the batter into the iron, spreading evenly to the edges, then close the lid and cook.

Cook for 4–5 minutes or until golden and crispy. Remove the waffle and serve warm with syrup, fruits, or whipped cream as desired. Enjoy!
